Bizak.com Selected as Finalist in Mashable Startup Showdown

We are excited to report that one of our clients' Web sites, Bizak.com, has been chosen as a finalist in the Mashable Startup Showcase. From Mashable.com:
"For the first time ever, Mashable readers get to pick a startup to get funded. The winning startup will receive a $50k seed investment from a real VC firm and access to an entire community to help them grow."
With more than 5 million monthly pageviews, Mashable is the world's largest blog focused exclusively on social networks. Its readers are made up of "tech-savvy early adopters, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, influencers, Web 2.0 aficionados and technology journalists." (Source: Mashable.com)
An Internet Entrepreneur
Bizak is the brainchild of serial Internet entrepreneur, Tom O'Keefe. His idea was to provide actual financial data to startups and investors, allowing both user groups to compare numbers against industry benchmarks, and of course, other startups. You can learn more about the Web site by watching our video interview with Tom, published through our podcast.
Bizak computes the valuation of internet startups, aggregates that data into comparative benchmarks, and connects entrepreneurs with investors.
During the month of September, Tom (along with each of the eight other finalists) will answer common venture capital-related questions, and present to a panel of expert judges. In addition, members of the VenCorps Web site (an online community of entrepreneurs, investors, and service providers) will vote to help decide which startup wins a $50,000 investment.
